Description
A LEGO construction set from The Lord of the Rings theme, set number 9474, titled The Battle of Helms Deep. This assembly builds a detailed fortress environment featuring a large gatehouse, a side wall with a mechanical exploding function, a main tower equipped with a horn, and an interior throne room. The set is designed to be compatible for expansion with LEGO set 9471, Uruk-hai Army. The set contains 1,368 pieces and includes eight minifigures: Gimli, King Theoden, Haldir, Aragorn, and four Uruk-hai. A horse figure is also included. The set is provided disassembled, with pieces sorted into four large resealable storage bags labeled 1 through 4. Also included are the four original instruction manuals.
Condition report:
The set is pre-owned and disassembled. The original box is present and displays moderate shelf wear, including corner scuffing, edge wear, and creasing. Clear adhesive tape is visible on the sides from previous closure. The four instruction manuals are present and show minor signs of handling wear. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
