Description
This is a building block toy set manufactured by LEGO as part of The Lord of the Rings theme, designated as set number 79008, Pirate Ship Ambush. The set consists of 756 pieces and includes three brown patterned fabric sails. The set is presented disassembled and includes the original cardboard retail box and two printed instruction manuals labeled 1 and 2. The building components are divided into two clear plastic storage bags. One bag contains smaller structural elements and minifigure components, while the other contains larger molded hull sections. The set includes nine minifigures: Aragorn, Legolas Greenleaf, Gimli, King of the Dead, two Soldiers of the Dead, a Pirate of Umbar, and two Mordor Orcs. The constructed model features three masts, projectile launchers, an opening deck section, a removable catapult, and a dungeon cell.
Condition report:
The set is in used, disassembled condition. The original cardboard box shows visible shelf wear, including edge scuffing, corner rubbing, and surface creasing. The instruction manuals and fabric sails appear to be in good condition with minor signs of handling. Parts are stored in aftermarket plastic bags. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
