Description
This is a LEGO building set from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey theme, identified as set number 79010, The Goblin King Battle. Included in this lot are seven standard minifigures: Dori the Dwarf, Nori the Dwarf, Ori the Dwarf, Gandalf the Grey, two Goblin Soldiers, and a Goblin Scribe, along with one oversized, specially molded Goblin King figure. The set features various interactive play mechanisms illustrated on the packaging, including a functioning crane with a bucket, a collapsing bridge, a throne with a hidden function, and a catapult. The lot includes the original retail box and all three original instruction manuals. The set is currently disassembled and stored in two large resealable plastic bags labeled with the set number and manual associations.
Condition report:
This set is in used condition and is currently disassembled. The original retail box shows visible signs of shelf wear, including creasing to the front and back panels, blunting at the corners, and wear along the edges. The instruction manuals appear intact with minor handling wear. The plastic components and minifigures appear in good used condition based on visual inspection through the storage bags. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
