Description
LEGO construction set from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies series, set number 79017. The set features components to build a defensive tower with collapsible elements and a wheeled ballista equipped with a spring-loaded firing mechanism. Included are seven minifigures consisting of Thorin Oakenshield, Dain Ironfoot, Legolas Greenleaf, Bard the Bowman, Azog, and two Gundabad Orcs. A large figure of the eagle Gwaihir is also present. The set is accompanied by its original retail box and two instruction manuals, both bearing the LEGO logo and set number. Components are sorted into two clear plastic storage bags.
Condition report:
Pre-owned and opened. The original retail box shows visible shelf wear, including surface creasing and remnants of adhesive tape. The two instruction manuals are intact with typical handling wear. Minifigures and the eagle figure appear to be in good condition. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
