Description
This LEGO building set, titled An Unexpected Gathering, is part of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey collection. Produced by The LEGO Group under set number 79003. The design recreates Bag End, featuring distinctive round windows and a circular green front door. The structure includes a removable roof section and opening doors to provide access to the interior living space. Exterior details include a garden area with flowers, vegetables, and a large tree integrated into the grassy hill roof. The set is accompanied by two original instruction manuals and features six specific minifigures: Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo Baggins, Balin the Dwarf, Dwalin the Dwarf, Bofur the Dwarf, and Bombur the Dwarf.
Condition report:
Pre-owned, used condition. The set is no longer in its original factory-sealed bags; components are stored in a secondary resealable bag with handwritten markings. The original retail box is included but exhibits shelf wear, including a notable tear on the upper right corner of the front panel and creasing along the edges. The instruction manuals show light handling wear. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
