Description
This set features an American Flyer O-gauge model train and accessory station. Includes a streamlined steam-type locomotive, a matching coal tender, three passenger cars, and a station building. The locomotive is a die-cast metal model of The Royal Blue, with the name printed along the boiler and the number 556 on the cab side. The matching tender is also die-cast metal and bears the characters American Flyer Lines. The rolling stock consists of one baggage car numbered 494 and two passenger coaches numbered 495, all manufactured from painted and lithographed sheet steel. Each car features the American Flyer Lines name and the baggage has functional sliding side doors. The station accessory is a lithographed tin and pressed steel structure with a red hipped roof, yellow walls, and green doors, set upon a gray-painted metal base. The station includes an external electrical wire for an internal light. Original boxes worn and incomplete.
