Description
This set is a vintage Lionel Outfit No. 1481WS 027 Freight Train Set produced by The Lionel Corporation. The collection includes a No. 2035 2-6-4 steam locomotive of die-cast metal construction with a smoke chamber and a No. 6466W Lionel Lines whistle tender. Rolling stock features a No. 6462 NYC black plastic gondola with six wooden barrels, a No. 3464 NYC brown plastic operating boxcar with an interior figure, a No. 6465 Sunoco silver-painted plastic tank car, a No. 3472 white plastic automatic refrigerated milk car with its green and white operating platform, and a No. 6357 Southern Pacific red plastic caboose. The outfit is complete with a No. 6019 remote control track set. Packaging includes the original corrugated cardboard master shipping carton and seven individual orange and blue component boxes. Documentation includes the original instruction booklet for assembly and operation and the specific instruction sheet for the milk car. The original boxes and set box have tape added.
