Description
A set of Lionel O-gauge model trains featuring a Burlington GP-7 diesel locomotive and a series of associated passenger cars. The locomotive is identified as No. 2328, constructed with a die-cast metal body and frame. It features silver paint with a red frame and railings, marked with the Burlington name and Built by Lionel text. The passenger car collection consists of silver plastic bodies with metal chassis and trucks, each decorated with a broad horizontal red stripe and Lionel Lines markings. The assortment includes No. 2442 Clifton Vista Dome cars, No. 2444 Newark coaches, a No. 2445 Elizabeth coach, and a No. 2446 Summit observation car. Each passenger car features interior window silhouette strips and the set is equipped with operating knuckle couplers. This assembly is consistent with the No. 1562W set produced by Lionel in the mid-1950s.
