Description
A Lionel Postwar O-gauge electric locomotive, model number 2360, patterned after the Pennsylvania Railroad GG1. The locomotive features a die-cast metal body finished in Brunswick Green with gold-tone five-stripe detailing. Both sides are marked with PENNSYLVANIA and the number 2360 in gold-tone lettering, alongside a central red Keystone logo with a yellow center. The unit is equipped with dual operating metal pantographs and a metal undercarriage. This model typically contains dual motors and a three-position E-unit for forward, neutral, and reverse operation. The locomotive is accompanied by its original brown cardboard shipping-style box. The box features printed text including MADE IN U. S. OF AMERICA, NO. 2360-25, and 2360-27. It also bears a circular maker’s seal for the National Container Corporation of Long Island City, New York, with specifications for a 200-pound test.
