Description
This lot features a collection of four vintage operating O-gauge model train accessories manufactured by The Lionel Corporation during the postwar era. The collection includes a No. 455 Oil Derrick and Pumper constructed from die-cast metal and plastic, featuring a green derrick with Sunoco branding and a red walking beam mechanism. Also included is a No. 175 Rocket Launcher made of plastic and metal, comprising a black gantry tower, yellow crane, and a white US Navy rocket, complete with its dedicated Rocket Controller unit. The lot contains a No. 415 Diesel Fueling Station made of plastic, featuring a red-roofed building and a blue tower marked Diesel Sand. The fourth accessory is a No. 465 Sound Dispatching Station, a plastic structure labeled Lionelville Dispatching Station with a red upper level and yellow roof antenna. All four accessories are accompanied by their original corrugated cardboard boxes. The box for No. 455 is marked The Lionel Corporation, New York, Made in U.S. of America, Chicago.
