Description
A collection of four vintage O-gauge model train accessories manufactured by Lionel. The group includes a No. 455 Oil Derrick and Pumper, a No. 282 Portal Gantry Crane, a No. 257 Station with Horn, and a No. 356 Freight Station.
The No. 455 Oil Derrick and Pumper features a green-painted metal latticework tower mounted on a red-painted metal base. It includes a yellow and red Sunoco Oil Derrick No. 455 sign and a red-painted pumper mechanism. The item is accompanied by its original cardboard box.
The No. 282 Portal Gantry Crane is constructed with a gray plastic portal base and a black cab and boom. The base features embossed Lionel lettering, and the cab is marked with Bucyrus Erie, Class 250, and Lionel Lines. It includes a wired three-lever remote controller and is accompanied by its original cardboard box. Plastic over wire is damaged.
The No. 257 Station with Horn consists of a white plastic station building with a green-painted metal roof and a maroon-painted metal base. The facade features several advertising decals including Be A Scout, Airex, Gulf, Baby Ruth, and Rival. It is accompanied by its original cardboard box.
The No. 356 Freight Station is similarly constructed with a white plastic building, a green-painted metal roof, and a maroon-painted metal base. The platform includes advertising signs for Rival, Sunoco, and Baby Ruth. This station is accompanied by its original cardboard box and a separate small box marked No. 356-35 containing a set of two accessory trucks.
