A Lionel postwar O-gauge model train set, identified as 1955 Outfit No. 2249WS. The set is powered by a No. 736 Berkshire 2-8-4 steam locomotive constructed of die-cast metal and a No. 2046W whistling tender with a plastic shell and die-cast frame. The collection of rolling stock includes a No. 3562 operating barrel car in yellow with A.T. and S.F. markings, accompanied by multiple wooden barrels, a plastic figure, and a black unloading tray. Also included is a No. 6464 boxcar featuring the State of Maine Bangor and Aroostook red, white, and blue livery. A No. 6414 auto-loader car with a red frame and black upper structure carries several plastic automobiles. The No. 3359 operating dump car consists of a gray plastic bin on a red frame and includes a burlap sack cargo. The set concludes with a No. 6517 red caboose marked as radio equipped. Included is a UCS remote control track set box. The ensemble comes in its original corrugated cardboard shipping box with a red and blue label and includes a group of individual orange and blue boxes for the cars and tender. All boxes have tape added.
