Description
This collection consists of vintage Lionel O27 gauge model train equipment, including a locomotive, tender, and four freight cars, each accompanied by its original manufacturer box. The set features a No. 1656 die-cast metal steam switcher locomotive with the number 1656 printed on the cab. The accompanying No. 6403B tender is marked Lionel Lines and features an internal bell mechanism as noted on the packaging. Freight cars include a No. 6468 Baltimore and Ohio automobile boxcar in reddish-brown plastic with sliding doors and B&O logo; a No. 3469 black plastic automatic dumping ore car; a No. 6560-25 operating work crane with a red plastic cab labeled Bucyrus Erie and a black die-cast base; and a No. 6119-50 brown plastic work caboose marked for the D.L. and W. railroad. The locomotive and freight car frames are constructed from die-cast metal, while the bodies of the boxcar, dump car, crane, and caboose are molded plastic. The six original worn orange and blue Lionel boxes correspond to each individual piece in the lot.
