Description
An assortment of Lionel Pre-war O-gauge electric model trains and trackside accessories. The set features a die-cast metal 2-4-2 steam locomotive marked with number 1684 on the cab sides, paired with a stamped tinplate No. 2255W coal tender bearing the Lionel Lines name. The rolling stock consists of several stamped tinplate cars, including a Shell oil tank car numbered 2654 with red lettering and a Lionel Lines plaque, a No. 655 boxcar with a cream body and brown roof missing one brake wheel, a No. 2655 boxcar with a cream body and maroon roof, and a No. 2679 Pennsylvania Railroad caboose numbered 477618. The caboose features markings for Eastern Div. and a build date of 4-41. The collection is accompanied by three accessories: a No. 068 metal railroad crossing sign with the text Look Out For The Locomotive and two No. 58 gooseneck-style street lamps, one finished in green and one in cream. All rolling stock is equipped with original metal latch-style couplers.
