Description
A collection of Lionel prewar O-gauge model train components and coordinating layout accessories. The train components include a No. 1666 steam locomotive with a 2-6-2 wheel arrangement featuring a black painted diecast body and cab numbering. Accompanying the locomotive is a Lionel Lines t 2666W tender finished in black with white lettering. The rolling stock consists of a No. 2680 Sunoco tank car of silver-painted tinplate construction with a Sunoco diamond logo, a No. 2679 Baby Ruth boxcar featuring a yellow tinplate body with orange sliding doors and a green roof, and a No. 2682 Lionel Lines caboose in red tinplate. Layout accessories include silver-painted metal No. 71 street lamps with cream-colored globes, a tall green-painted No. 59 cast metal gooseneck lamp, and black cast metal No. 025 Bumpers featuring jewel lenses. The locomotive and several accessories are of die-cast or cast metal construction, while the freight cars and caboose are primarily constructed of pressed and lithographed tinplate. All pieces feature visible Lionel manufacturer markings and model numbers.
