Description
Lionel Corporation No. 115 passenger station. This model is constructed from painted tinplate and features a cream-colored body with a red base, roof trim, doors, and window frames. The architectural design includes an arched central entrance flanked by rectangular and circular windows, all fitted with mesh screens. Above the main entrance, the facade is embossed with the characters LIONEL CITY and includes a decorative clock face. The unit is accompanied by two gooseneck-style exterior lamps with white globes. Two electrical binding posts are mounted on the red base for wiring. The original worn cardboard shipping box is included, featuring a manufacturer stamp from the Consolidated Box Company Inc. of Maspeth, New York, along with the model number 115-1. A partial yellow and blue label on the box side identifies the manufacturer as Lionel Electric Trains.
