Description
A collection of Lionel prewar O-gauge electric model trains and trackside accessories, featuring two sets in pea green and red liveries. The items are constructed from painted tinplate and sheet metal with various brass-colored metal accents and components.
The collection includes a pea green No. 252 center-cab electric locomotive featuring inset brass-colored plates with the manufacturer name and model number. This engine is accompanied by two No. 629 Pullman passenger cars with maroon-painted window inserts and one No. 630 observation car featuring an open rear platform and brass-colored railings.
The second set is finished in red and includes a No. 248 center-cab electric locomotive with "LIONEL 248" side panels and cream-colored doors. This set is completed by one No. 629 Pullman passenger car and one No. 630 observation car, both featuring cream-colored window inserts and gold-tone lettering.
Two trackside accessories are included: a green-painted lattice tower No. 62 semaphore signal with a movable red arm and dual-lens lamp housing, and a N0. 69 green-painted lattice tower railroad crossing signal missing one bell featuring embossed crossbuck sign reading RAILROAD CROSSING LOOK OUT FOR LOCOMOTIVE.
