Description
A collection of Lionel prewar O-gauge model train items consisting of a 2-6-2 steam locomotive, a matching tender, and a set of passenger cars with trackside accessories. The locomotive features a die-cast metal body with the cab numbered 225E and Lionel Lines plaques on the sides. The coordinating 2225 TX tender is also constructed from metal and bears the Lionel Lines name. The passenger set includes two No. 609 Pullman cars and one No. 611 Observation car, all manufactured from lithographed tinplate in a blue and silver color scheme with The Lionel Lines lettering. Also included is a collection of painted metal No. 71 telegraph poles featuring green tapered bases and poles, red cross-arms, and white insulators.
