Description
This lot comprises a variety of vintage Hornby Dublo OO gauge model railway items, featuring three locomotives, a breakdown crane set, and twenty-two pieces of freight rolling stock. The locomotives include two #2217 B.R. 0-6-2 Tank Locomotives in black livery with running number 69550, and one #2231 0-6-0 Diesel-Electric Shunting Locomotive in green livery. The #4620 Breakdown Crane Set consists of a red die-cast crane and its associated match trucks, housed within the original presentation box.
The freight rolling stock includes four #4675 Chlorine tank wagons with white bodies and yellow domes, one #4657 United Dairies milk tank wagon, and one #4301 Banana Van. There are seven #4635 coal wagons, three #4670 13-ton standard wagons, and three #4660 U.G.B. sand wagons in yellow livery. Completing the group is one #4325 12-ton ventilated van, a brown J. Bly & Co coal wagon, and a yellow United Glass Limited wagon.
Each model is constructed using die-cast metal and plastic components. A significant number of these items are accompanied by their original red and white striped boxes, which feature printed labels identifying the manufacturer and model numbers, including 4620, 2217, 2231, 4675, 4635, 4301, 4670, 4657, 4660, and 4325. Locomotives and wagons bear various markings and company liveries as described. 11 freight car boxes are reproductions. Original boxes are worn.
