Description
This collection of Hornby Dublo model railway items, manufactured in England by Meccano Ltd., includes an assortment of OO gauge components in London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) and Royal Mail liveries. The group features a 0-6-2T tank locomotive with a die-cast metal body, finished in LMS black with gold lettering and numbered 6917. The locomotive is accompanied by a separate black electrical suppressor component. The rolling stock consists of a tinplate lithographed Traveling Post Office (T.P.O.) mail van in maroon Royal Mail livery, numbered W 807, and three passenger coaches in maroon with yellow lining. The passenger coaches include two units numbered 26133 and one unit numbered 4183. Also included is the complete trackside apparatus for the T.P.O. set, comprising a metal base, a yellow plastic screen, a bag-catching mechanism, and a small yellow-painted trackside hut.
