Description
This collection consists of two steam tank locomotives and several pieces of rolling stock in OO gauge, attributed to Tri-ang Hornby. The locomotives include a Standard Class 4MT 2-6-4T tank engine in British Railways black livery numbered 80054, and an N2 Class 0-6-2T tank engine in British Railways black livery numbered 69567, both displaying the early BR crest. The associated rolling stock features an assortment of tank wagons including red Esso Royal Daylight Paraffin, yellow Shell Lubricating Oil, and red Mobil versions. Also included are an LMS furniture removal van, various brown box vans and open wagons with LMS markings, and brake vans in grey and brown finishes. The items are constructed with molded plastic bodies on metal or plastic chassis, featuring metal wheels and standard plastic tension-lock couplings. Two plain blue cardboard boxes are included as stands for the locomotives.
