Description
This collection features vintage OO gauge model train components manufactured by Hornby Dublo. The grouping includes a 4-6-2 steam locomotive in British Railways green livery, identified by the Duchess of Montrose nameplate and cab number 46232. Accompanying the locomotive is a matching six-wheel tender featuring the early British Railways crest transfer. The set further contains a collection of passenger carriages finished in British Railways maroon and cream livery. The carriages feature gray roofs and include identification numbers E 42759 E and E 45402 E. The locomotive and tender are made from die-cast metal, while the carriages are constructed of lithographed tinplate with die-cast bogies and plastic wheels. These components are designed for a 3-rail electric system. One original blue cardboard Hornby Dublo box is included.
