Description
This vintage Trix Twin Railway (TTR) electric model train set is presented in its original red presentation box – which shows a lot of wear and rips on the lid. Manufactured in England, the set features a three-rail track system. The locomotive is a black 0-4-0 steam engine constructed from die-cast metal, bearing the number 4826 on the cab side. It is paired with a matching black tender marked TRIX TWIN in white lettering. The rolling stock includes a group of three green passenger cars with lithographed and painted metal bodies: one baggage car numbered 1093 and two Pullman passenger cars numbered 2407 and 8568. Electrical and system components include a TTR-branded controller with a yellow faceplate and black control knob, various lengths of electrical wiring, a small red signal or switch component, and several curved sections of three-rail track. The interior lid of the box displays promotional text and identifies the set as a Trix Train System, listing British patent numbers 451644, 459744, 465168, 469656, 471304, 488357, and 498651. The set is marked MADE IN ENGLAND and features the circular TTR logo depicting two stylized locomotives.
