Description
This Fleischmann HO gauge model train set was manufactured in Western Germany and dates to circa 1954. The set is composed of a black 2-6-0 Mogul locomotive and a matching coal tender. The passenger cars are AMT aluminum includes silver-toned streamliner style cars with corrugated sides, including a baggage car, a passenger coach, and a rounded-end observation car. The locomotive is constructed from die-cast metal, and the cars feature plastic bodies with metal chassis and trucks. An assortment of curved and straight track with metal rails is included. The set is accompanied by three original Fleischmann HO catalogs and instruction booklets, one of which features a handwritten date of Jan. 1954. The items are contained within the original blue cardboard box with internal dividers and a pictorial Fleischmann label on the lid. OB is worn with tape repair.
