Description
A vintage model railroad electrical signal cabin and integrated control unit manufactured by F.E.M. (Fabbrica Elettromeccanica Modelli) of Italy. This accessory is designed for OO gauge layouts as indicated by the box label mark SCART. OO. The structure features a two-tiered building constructed of painted sheet metal with textured roofs and a blue-painted metal external staircase. The building is mounted on a rectangular base that houses an electrical control panel with six silver-toned metal push buttons. The side of the building is marked with the letters CABINA A 1200 POSTO DI BLOCCO and the manufacturer initials F.E.M. appear in red on multiple elevations. The unit is accompanied by its original heavy-gauge cardboard box which features a stapled lid and a printed factory label showing the F.E.M. circular track logo and the text CABINA DI COMANDO A 6 PULSANTI. A separate eight-terminal electrical connector strip used for wiring is also included.
