Description
This vintage toy station platform is produced by the Italian manufacturer FEM (Fabbrica Elementi Modellismo). The piece is constructed from painted tinplate and is likely scaled for O-gauge train sets. The model features a light blue corrugated-style canopy supported by two silver-painted lattice-work pillars. The platform base is finished in tan with a maroon-painted perimeter. Affixed accessories include two yellow kiosks with gray roofs, one labeled GIORNALI and the other TABACCHI. The platform also includes a single green-painted bench and a set of red-painted railings surrounding an opening representing a stairwell. A central sign suspended from the canopy frame reads VIETATO ATTRAVERSARE I BINARI. The item is accompanied by its original two-piece tan cardboard box, which is secured with metal staples. The box retains an identification label featuring a red circular FEM stamp and the printed model number EE. 100.
