Description
This lot features several staple-bound softcover catalogs and magazines published by Rivarossi of Como, Italy, dating from 1954 to 1962. The covers showcase distinctive mid-century artwork, with several issues signed by illustrator Alessandro Dalla Costa. The collection includes the following items: a 1954 catalog depicting steam locomotive 691 008 in a snowy landscape; a 1955 catalog featuring electric locomotive A24; a 1956 catalog showing a steam engine with illuminated cab windows; a 1957 catalog with a yellow cover and black-and-white line illustration of steam engine 032; a 1958 catalog featuring an electric train in a station hall; and a 1961-1962 catalog showing a steam locomotive at a depot under a pink sky.
