Description
This group of model railway equipment by Fleischmann, made in Western Germany, includes eight individual pieces in HO scale. The assortment consists of two locomotives and six units of rolling stock, constructed from die-cast metal and plastic components. The locomotives include one black and red 2-8-4 steam tank locomotive (Ref. 1324) numbered 65014 with Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) markings, and one blue electric express locomotive (Ref. 1347) numbered E 10 317 with the DB logo. The rolling stock includes a green baggage and mail car (Ref. 1504) marked 106096 Essen, a green passenger coach (Ref. 1501), a blue second-class passenger coach (Ref. 1502), and three blue Touropa sleeper coaches (Ref. 1509) featuring prominent white Touropa lettering on the sides. All items are housed in their original manufacturer cardboard window boxes. The boxes display reference numbers 1324, 1347, 1501, 1502, 1504, and 1509 on the end flaps. Several boxes retain vintage handwritten notations, including references to RCAF BX (Royal Canadian Air Force Exchange) dated from 1964 and 1965.
