Description
A group of three vintage 1-gauge model railway cars produced by the German manufacturer Marklin. These items are constructed of lithographed tinplate with metal chassis, wheels, and hook-and-loop style couplers. The collection includes a brown ventilated boxcar 1929/1 featuring a black roof, a raised brakeman cabin with an attached ladder, and two functional sliding doors per side. Also included is a red-oxide 20-ton hopper car, designated with the model number 1995/1 and featuring a circular logo and 20 Tons text on the side panels. The final piece is a Swiss Federal Railways (SBB CFF) baggage car in a green livery with a tan clerestory-style roof and a raised cupola. This car is marked with the model number 1808/1 along with the S.B.B. + C.F.F. and Pwi designations and technical specifications including 20,1t and K Kpbr.
