Description
A Marklin ME 70/12920 O Gauge (Spur 0) electric steam locomotive and matching tender set manufactured in Germany. The 4-6-2 "Pacific" type locomotive features black-painted tinplate and cast-metal construction with red-painted wheels and chassis accents. The cab side is marked with the letters M. K. over 70/12920 over MARKLIN, accompanied by a plaque reading 20 Volt B with a bicycle logo. The boiler sides are fitted with gold-colored ME plaques. The matching eight-wheel tender is marked on the rear with MARKLIN, the model number ME 920/0, a bicycle logo, and Made in Germany.
The set includes its original Marklin cardboard shipping boxes. The main box bears a label for model ME 70/12920 in schwarz (black). A smaller box contains the remote reversing controller, Model 13374 GN, featuring a red lever and original wiring. A collection of original paper documentation is present, including instruction manuals in German, French, and English, along with an original protective paper envelope marked ME 70/12920.
