Description
This group of vintage HO-scale model trains was manufactured by Rivarossi in Italy, modeled after the streamlined Milwaukee Road Hiawatha. The collection includes a 4-4-2 streamlined steam locomotive, a matching tender, a standard coach, and a baggage-coach combine. Construction consists of plastic bodies mounted on die-cast metal chassis. The locomotive and tender are finished in the characteristic Milwaukee Road silver and orange livery with brown trim. The locomotive features the name HIAWATHA on the boiler sides and an RR emblem on the nose. The tender bears the text THE MILWAUKEE ROAD and a running figure logo. The two passenger cars feature silver roofs and orange sides. Included are two original cardboard boxes: one marked L442/R for the locomotive and tender, and another marked V DUZ/a, coaches ar V ABZ/a. 2 original boxes are worn
