Description
A trio of vintage HO gauge model train passenger cars manufactured by Marklin. The lot consists of one dining car and two sleeping cars. The coaches feature painted and lithographed tinplate bodies mounted on metal frames with metal wheels and multi-axle bogies. The roofs are finished in silver paint and are detailed with rows of roof vents. One coach is a dining car (352) finished in blue livery with yellow window highlights, bearing the inscriptions Voiture Restaurant and Dining-Car. The second coach is a sleeping car in red Mitropa livery, marked Mitropa and Schlafwagen, and carries the number 353. The third coach is a sleeping car in maroon livery, similarly marked Mitropa and Schlafwagen, and also bears the number 353. All cars are fitted with standard hook-and-loop couplers. The items come with plain cardboard storage boxes that feature handwritten identification. Boxes show some wear
