Description
A vintage Märklin Gauge 00 electric locomotive, model MS 800, based on the DRG Class E 18. The model features a die-cast metal body and frame finished in a green livery with a gray roof, black frame, and red-painted buffer beams. The locomotive is equipped with two functional roof-mounted pantographs for overhead power pickup and incorporates the Märklin Perfect reverse mechanism. The side of the locomotive body contains an incised panel with the text MARKLIN above the model number MS 800. The item is accompanied by its original cardboard box, which features a red and white paper label printed with MARKLIN and Made in Germany. The box is stamped with the characters MS 800. Also included is a printed instruction booklet titled Instructions For the Electric Miniature Railways Gauge 00 Locomotives with Perfect Reverse and Trains with Overhead Pickup.
