Description
This lot consists of three HO scale model railway freight cars featuring the markings of the Italian State Railways (Ferrovie dello Stato). The models are constructed primarily from molded plastic with metal axles and wheels.
The first item is a red flatcar with a black chassis. 302-2 Projector car. It carries a gray-finished generator and a searchlight unit mounted on a geared circular base, complete with a coiled white wire detail. The side of the car is marked FS Italia and P 150.390, along with technical symbols including a numeral 3 and a shielded T.
The second item is a black flatcar equipped with a crane unit. 303-2 crane. The crane features a gray cabin and boom with a white upper edge and a red hook. It includes a manual string mechanism for the boom and a length of rope coiled on the flatbed. The side is marked FS Italia and P 542.182.
The third item is a brown-finished hopper car (164) with an open top containing a simulated coal load. The side panels are marked F.S, FIAT, V, and T 17, with lower markings reading D.2 27 and FI-T 70. Missing a brake wheel. All three cars are fitted with standard hook-and-loop style couplers.
