Description
A trio of HO scale model railway cars manufactured by Pocher of Italy, representing the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits (CIWL). The set consists of three cars constructed from molded plastic with metal wheels and hook-style couplers.
The first car is an all-blue baggage car with gold-toned lettering. The text Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits et des Grands Express Europeens is printed along the roofline above a central crest. The body is marked Bagages and bears car number 1290 at both ends.
The second car is a Pullman passenger coach finished in a two-tone blue and cream livery. The upper cream panel features the full CIWL title, while the lower blue section is marked Pullman and 1re Classe with car number 4072.
The third car is a baggage car in a matching two-tone blue and cream livery. It features the CIWL title along the roofline and a central crest. The cream panels surround the vertical window and door slats, and the lower blue body is marked Bagages with car number 1290.
The items are accompanied by two original Pocher cardboard boxes. One box features a diagonal split design in blue and orange with the Pocher king logo. The second box is a blue and white design showing color illustrations of various models with corresponding item numbers including 216, 224, 220, 204, 222, and 214.
