Description
A lot of two vintage HO scale model train passenger cars manufactured by Pocher of Torino, Italy. The first car is # 224, identified as the Lincoln-Car, modeled after the United States presidential funeral car. The car features a dark reddish-brown body with ornate gold and blue circular emblems on the sides and a clerestory roof with gold-tone vents. It is housed in its original blue and light blue illustrated cardboard box. The second car is a Swiss dining car finished in brown with a grey roof. Armistice car no 205 1957. The car sides are lettered in gold with Schweizerische Speisewagen Gesellschaft on one side and Compagnie Suisse des Wagons Restaurants on the reverse. Other markings include Wagon-Restaurant, Speisewagen, N. 7, and Tare Kg 43720. This car is accompanied by a red and blue Pocher box labeled Carrozza dell Armistizio Art. 205, which originally corresponded to the Armistice Carriage model. Both cars are constructed of molded plastic with metal wheels and couplers.
