Description
This is a two-piece HO scale electric multiple unit (EMU) train set manufactured by Vollon et Brun (VB) in France. The set consists of model number 520, which represents the SNCF Z 5100 series Budd stainless steel cars. Trailer is 521 MP. Both units are constructed from plastic with a silver finish featuring distinctive corrugated side panels. The set includes one motorized lead car, identified on the packaging as an automotrice, and one unpowered trailing passenger car. The motorized unit is equipped with a roof-mounted pantograph and longitudinal roof details. Each car is designed with four sets of double doors on each side and detailed front ends featuring molded windshields, headlights, and a diamond-shaped logo containing the letters V and B. The items are accompanied by one plain tan cardboard boxe. Box features an original red and white end label printed with the VB logo, the number 520, the word Automotrice, and text reading Marque Deposee and Made in France.
