Description
This collection features three Marklin H0 scale model train sets showcasing the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) Pop-Farben (pop-color) livery from the 1970s. The lot includes one primary digital express train set and two supplementary passenger car sets.
The main set is a Marklin 26512 Digital H0 Schnellzugpackung Pop-Farben. This set contains a Class 110.3 electric locomotive in blue and cream livery, which is equipped with a digital decoder for use with Marklin digital control systems. This set also includes four passenger cars: one in blue and cream, a red and cream Speisewagen dining car, one in orange and cream, and a green and cream baggage and passenger coach. A small plastic sprue with detail parts is included in the packaging insert.
Accompanying the main set are two Marklin 42943 Schnellzugwagen-Set Pop-Farben. Each of these sets contains two passenger cars: one in blue and cream and one in green and cream.
The locomotive and passenger cars are manufactured using die-cast metal and plastic components. All items are housed in their original manufacturer cardboard boxes with white polystyrene protective inserts. The locomotive in set 26512 remains partially enclosed in its original factory protective tissue and plastic wrap. Instruction and documentation sheets are present within the car set packaging.
