Description
This is a Märklin HO scale model train starter set, model number 29186, titled My Start With Märklin. The set features a German Federal Railroad (DB) Class 81 0-8-0 steam tank locomotive, marked with the number 81 002. The locomotive is constructed with a die-cast metal body and includes operational headlights and a DELTA electronic circuit for multi-train operation. The included collection of rolling stock consists of a green DB baggage car, a yellow tank car with Biodiesel markings, a brown stake car carrying three yellow hay bale loads, and a brown low-side gondola car carrying a green tractor model. The track included is the Märklin C-Track system, which forms a basic oval consisting of twelve curved sections (24130), two straight sections (24172), two straight sections (24188), and a feeder wire set. Power is supplied by a Märklin 32 VA train control transformer, model 6647 series, configured for 120V / 60Hz North American power outlets. The set also contains an assortment of miniature animal figures and original instruction manuals. Construction materials for the set components are primarily die-cast metal for the locomotive and plastic with metal wheels and rails for the rolling stock and track. Box top is worn, has a rip in seam.
