Description
A Lionel ‘The General Frontier Pack’ Train Set, No. 1800 O Gauge.The set is housed within its original cardboard box, distinctly labeled “LIONEL THE GENERAL FRONTIER PACK” and featuring a colorful, stylized illustration of a steam train in a Western landscape. The set comprises a black and red steam locomotive 1862, a green tender car marked “W & A R R 1862T, ” two yellow passenger cars (one marked “1865 WESTERN & ATLANTIC” and “1865 U.S. MAIL, ” ), a brown 1877 horsecar. The train components, appearing to be a mix of plastic and metal, are neatly arranged within a vibrant green foam insert. Accompanying the set is a collection of paper documents, including a “How to Operate No. 1800 ‘GENERAL’ FRONTIER PACK” manual, a “LIONEL 1959” catalog, a “LIONEL ‘027’ SUPER ‘O’ HO” brochure (with one copy in a protective sleeve marked “1959 XEROX”), and several small vintage advertisements.
