Description
This is a LEGO building set titled Mirkwood Elf Army, set number 79012, from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug theme. The set is constructed from molded plastic components. As identified on the retail packaging, the set includes six minifigures: Thranduil, two Mirkwood Elf Archers, one Mirkwood Elf, and two Gundabad Orcs, as well as a brown Warg figure. The building components allow for the construction of a Mirkwood fortress wall segment and a tree-tower defense point with a catapult. This lot includes the original retail cardboard box, the printed assembly instruction manual, and the disassembled building pieces.
Condition report:
This is an open-box, pre-owned set. The original retail box shows visible signs of wear, including scuffing to the edges and corners, and surface creasing. The building pieces are disassembled and stored in a non-original clear plastic slider bag with the set number handwritten on the front. The instruction manual is included and shows minor wear from handling. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
