Description
This LEGO Star Wars Death Star construction set, model number 10188, is manufactured by the LEGO Group. The set is designed to depict various interior scenes from the Star Wars film franchise, featuring multiple rooms and articulated play mechanisms such as a rotating superlaser, a functional elevator, a trash compactor, and a hangar bay. The collection includes the disassembled pieces organized into nine plastic storage bags which have been handwritten with numbers corresponding to the assembly stages. Also included are four original white inner cardboard boxes bearing part numbers 4536698, 4536699, 4538172, and 4538171. The original spiral-bound instruction manual is present, along with the retail box which displays the LEGO and Star Wars logos and highlights the various minifigures and manual play functions included in the set.
Condition report:
Pre-owned and previously assembled. The set has been disassembled and sorted into aftermarket plastic bags. The original retail box shows moderate shelf wear, with visible creasing, corner blunting, and edge abrasions. The four inner white boxes show light handling wear. The instruction manual is intact with minor signs of use. LEGO pieces appear to be in good condition overall with no significant damage observed. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
