Description
This building set manufactured by The LEGO Group, model number 10144, is a representation of the Jawa Sandcrawler from the film Star Wars: A New Hope. Released in 2005 as part of the Original Trilogy Edition line. The model features several integrated play functions including a lowering front boarding ramp, an opening cockpit, a removable center roof section for interior access, opening side panels, and a functional internal crane for moving droid figures. The vehicle is designed with four articulated tread assemblies. The set includes 1,670 pieces and 11 minifigures and droids, comprising Uncle Owen Lars, three Jawas, C-3PO, R2-D2, R5-D4, a Treadwell droid, an ASP-7 droid, a Gonk droid, and a medical droid. This lot consists of the original retail box, the primary building instruction manual, and the disassembled parts currently stored within two large resealable plastic bags.
Condition report:
The set is offered in used, disassembled condition. The original box exhibits shelf wear, including scuffing along the edges and corners and minor creasing throughout. The building instruction manual is present with minor handling wear consistent with use. The plastic components are housed in secondary resealable bags. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
