Description
This Lionel O gauge model train set features a Boston & Maine GP-9 diesel locomotive lash-up in an ABA configuration. The set, identified as item number 6-11843, includes three individual units with road numbers 2380, 2381, and 2382. The locomotives are constructed with plastic body shells over die-cast metal chassis and components. According to the factory documentation, the technical specifications include dual Pullmor motors, Magne-Traction, ElectroCouplers, TowerCom, CrewTalk, RailSounds, and directional lighting on all units. The set is complete with its original owner’s manual (dated 7/98), the original tiered polystyrene foam inserts, and the original graphic storage box featuring the Lionel logo and a factory-applied identification label. The locomotives are finished in the traditional blue and white Boston & Maine livery with distinctive road name lettering and numbering.
