Description
A Lionel Electric Trains Chessie T-1 4-8-4 steam locomotive and matching tender, catalog number 6-18011. Both the locomotive and tender are of die-cast metal construction. The locomotive is finished in black with a gray smokebox and features yellow and orange accent stripes. It bears road number 2101 on the cab and a Chessie STEAM SPECIAL placard on the front pilot. The tender matches the engine’s livery, featuring the Chessie System name and logo on a yellow side panel. According to the manufacturer’s packaging, features include a Pullmor motor with traction tires, electronic RailSounds with volume control, a smoking stack and steam chest, operating headlight and backup light, and spoked drivers with metal rims. The tender is equipped with six-wheel die-cast metal trucks and an operating knuckle coupler. This model is designed for operation on O42 or wider track.
