Description
This Märklin HO scale model train freight set, catalog number 2874, is a special edition reissue commemorating the 125th anniversary of the manufacturer. The set is a reproduction of models originally produced between 1958 and 1974. The collection consists of one Class E 63 electric locomotive and three container transport wagons. The locomotive features a die-cast metal body finished in a red color scheme with a silver roof and black chassis, equipped with a single functional overhead pantograph. It bears the designation E 63 on the side. The three container transport wagons are finished in black and each carry three silver-colored containers. These containers are marked with the DB Deutsche Bundesbahn logo and the slogan Von Haus zu Haus. The wagons and containers are constructed from a combination of plastic and metal components. The set is presented in its original gray commemorative cardboard box, which features the Märklin 125 Jahre logo and includes a fitted plastic interior tray.
