Description
This lot comprises two vintage electric model train sets manufactured by Lima in Italy. The first set, from the Lima Golden Series (model number 149751 GW), represents a British Rail High Speed Train in blue and yellow Inter-City 125 livery. This four-piece set includes one powered locomotive, one unpowered dummy locomotive, one coach in ScotRail livery, and one coach in Inter-City 125 livery. The second set (model number 149813) features Swiss Federal Railways (SBB CFF FFS) rolling stock in gray and dark gray tones. This four-piece set includes one electric locomotive with dual roof-mounted pantographs and three passenger coaches, two of which are marked EuroCity. Both sets are constructed with plastic bodies and metal and plastic mechanical components. Each set is housed in its original box with a clear viewing window and polystyrene insert. The Swiss set retains its original instruction and diagram paperwork. Visible marks on the packaging include the stylized red and white Lima logo, specific model numbers, and Made in Italy designations.
