Description
Collection of Lionel Corporation postwar O-gauge model train items with a black die-cast No. 646 steam locomotive and a corresponding No. 2046W whistle tender. The locomotive features the number 646 on the cab side and a 4-6-4 wheel arrangement. The 2046W tender is constructed of black plastic with white Lionel Lines lettering.
The rolling stock includes four operating freight cars:
A No. 3562 A.T. & S.F. Operating Barrel Car in gray with six wooden barrels and a blue figure.
A No. 6264 Lumber Car with a red plastic frame, black stakes, and a load of wooden planks.
A No. 3424 Wabash Operating Brakeman Car in blue with Follow the Flag and Wabash logos, featuring a white figure on the roof.
A No. 3472 Operating Milk Car in white with a circled L logo, accompanied by a white and green milk platform and an original small box for No. 3462-70 magnetic milk cans.
The lot includes six original Lionel cardboard boxes. The original worn boxes are labeled for the following items: No. 3424-100 Low Bridge Signal Set, No. 2046W Tender with Whistle, No. 6264 Lumber Car, No. 3562 Operating Barrel Car, No. 3424 Operating Brakeman Car, and No. 3472 Operating Milk Car. The cars are primarily constructed of plastic with die-cast metal trucks and magnetic couplers.
