Description
This collection consists of nine Swiss HOm scale (meter gauge) model railway units representing various alpine railway lines. The group includes two electric locomotives and seven passenger, dining, and bar carriages, accompanied by one original manufacturer’s box from Fulgurex.
The locomotives include:
One SBB CFF FFS electric locomotive, type HGe 4/4 II, in red livery with white lettering, numbered 101 962-9, featuring dual roof-mounted pantographs.
One BVZ (Brig-Visp-Zermatt) electric locomotive, type HGe 4/4 II, named Mont Dolin and numbered 2, in red livery with the BVZ logo and dual pantographs.
The carriages include:
One MOB (Montreux-Oberland Bernois) panoramic bar car in a blue and cream livery with gold lettering reading EXPRESS (((BAR))) and the MOB initials. This unit is housed with a burgundy Fulgurex brand box with gold printing.
Three Furka-Oberalp (FO) panoramic passenger coaches in red and white livery.
One BVZ Zermatt-Bahn panoramic passenger coach in red and white livery.
One Furka-Oberalp (FO) dining car in solid red livery, marked Restaurant.
One RhB (Rhaetian Railway) Gourmino dining car in blue livery with gold Graubunden lettering.
One SBB Brunig-Bar coach in red livery featuring a graphic of a waiter in formal attire and the Brunig-Bar name.
The models are constructed from high-quality plastic and die-cast metal, with the Fulgurex unit likely composed of brass. Each unit features intricate detailing including window glazing, interior seating, fine exterior lettering, and detailed undercarriages.
