Description
A group of eight vintage Lionel O and O27 gauge intermodal rolling stock sets, all contained within their original retail packaging. The collection consists of six Chicago & Northwestern T.T.U.X. Flatcar Sets (Model 6-16334) and two Canadian National Maxi-Stack Flatcar Sets (Model 6-16912). The Chicago & Northwestern sets feature yellow articulated flatcars carrying two white Falcon Service trailers decorated with the railroad logo. The Canadian National sets include blue flatcars carrying four removable white and blue CN Intermodal Laser containers. Construction consists of plastic bodies and trailers or containers with metal wheels, axles, and operating knuckle couplers. One original Lionel factory shipping carton for the TTUX sets is included, featuring a printed date of August 7, 1991, and the manufacturer address in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Retail boxes for the 6-16334 sets feature black and white Big, Rugged Trains graphics, while the 6-16912 sets are housed in orange and cream Lionel Electric Trains boxes.
